Nyan Nyan

So unless you live under a rock or just don't like cute things, you know what the Nyan Cat is. This amazing rainbow pastry kitty is an internet masterpiece and an example of how simple, adorable things (especially cat related) can captivate so well. And then Virtual Insanity made a collection based on Nyan Cat, and then I squealed with joy. But I needed a look to go with the awesomeness that is Nyan Cat, so I started with these jeans from Bubblefish. I saw them on sale last weekend and they were pink, I love pink, and have stars, I love stars. They were a must buy!

Here you can better see the nail set for the collection. They are rainbows save for one finger which is blue with Nyan Cat on it. I'm also wearing a ring to match. The bracelets are also from Virtual Insanity but part of their Black Swan set. My top came from SAKIDE, the new brand name for Sassy Kitty Designs. The name of this one is Disjointed Top, obviously since the pieces are separated. There is also a heart pattern on the area covering my bust but you can't tell as much in the pictures; looks great in person though!

Finally, an up close look at my lovely face! I am wearing a brand new skin from birdy, the style is called Angie and yes, it did come with the eyeshadow as a separate tattoo layer. You also get multiple colors, I went with pink to go with my jeans. Also you can now get a great up close look at the Nyan set. Virtual Insanity offers earrings, a necklace AND lip piercing! All with great rainbows and cute poptart kitty action!

Casual in Kastle Rock Couture

So this look started from a funny story...well sort of. Working under Dolce Enderfield we had a meeting with the creator of Kastle Rock Couture, Spooky Mistwallow. I wanted to impress so I rushed over to this great store to pick out a great look though also was on a budget. Lucky for me the store is apart of 55L Thursdays and 60L weekend! I had wanted to stop by for 55L Thursday anyway so this was the perfect chance to have a mini shopping spree! This is the style I came up with and didn't break the bank either which is always a plus in my book.

I grabbed the Clarice tank top on sale for 55L and choose to go with purple because it's just a color I enjoy. For under 100L you get three colors; purple, gold and green. It is a lovely tank, a bit shimmery and quite sexy. It can easily be worn under a stylish jacket for a more upscale look or dressed down as I went. The jeans were 60L and came in a long option or capri all together. Added a sexy belt from +DV8+ to accent my well toned virtual abs and simple heels from fri.day.

Now! A nice extra is my hair! I got a notice about Maigcka having some new releases and usually I don't go rushing to shop for new items since it means money. But I saw the pictures and just couldn't resist. The style I have on is called Pix, I'm such a fan of pigtails. Best part is, the colors are now HUD controlled so I nabbed the fat pack and with one object and a HUD I can go anywhere in the color rainbow. Ans yes, those beautiful nails are from Finesmith, I just love the color and the design on them.

First I would like to say sorry for not posting recently. It was a busy holiday weekend plus I haven't been feeling all that well. I still am not at my best but I really can't slack off in my duties. I had a whole line up of Easter posts and I didn't get to finish them all but I will try to get them done, even if it's after the day. I'm doing Butterfly Effectz first because their Easter hunt items are still out and up for grabs.

This whole outfit can be nabbed by stopping by Butterfly Effectz and finding Easter eggs around the store. Shoes, dress, necklace; it's a great look. It's great throughout the spring season as well so don't feel limited to just wearing it for Easter. Of course it's my favorite color pink so I loved it even more.

I put on my Easter hair from Magika as well a cool hair accessory from Graffitiwear. The color I have on is free and the other colors are only $10L; great bargain! I finished the look with a skin from JeSyLiLo, I've worn it before as well. It's called Jiao and I really like how innocent and sweet it makes me look; perfect for the spring.

Another Easter outfit from LoveCats? Yup! This is an older release but one I do enjoy a lot. It's called Bunny Foo Foo. I had work today and wasn't sure what to wear. A newer release? The sale item? Oh the choices! Then, by the grace of the gods I got a notice for a free hair from Magika. It all came together then and thus I bring you this post. A mixture of chance, style and my love for pastel, neko, bunny and blond hair.

Bunny Foo Foo is a adorable pastel outfit for Easter, a cute skirt with the rocking moon boots. Of course, you have the bunny ears and tails. I like the flopped ears in this outfit since most outfits have the ears pointing straight up; it's nice to see something different. This outfit is very cute and adorable, yet even a bit sexy with the fishnet stockings and the fact you can see some booty with this skirt on. It's a great mix of sensuality and femininity. The tattoos you see on me are from Curious Kitties, pink sakura petals.

The inspiration for this look is the hair from Magika. Totally free to subscribers so if you love it, go get it! Magkia is a great hair store to stay up to date with. The skin also helped spurred this look, it's from Fhang Candy and is an amazing skin for Easter time. The lips have great multi-colored stripes, sort of like dyed Easter eggs. Eyes are free from Curious Kitties, so don't miss them! Won't be there forever.

Hope in My Heart for Japan

So perhaps some of the charity events for Japan are over or drawing to a close but that doesn't mean we should forget or push it aside. As with most human issues once the fanfare dies down we go back to life as usual but Japan hasn't yet. The world is filled with problems and it's up to us as a people to band together to fix it. I would hope that it doesn't just take a tragedy to get people to stand up and help. I picked up some great items during the sale events and haven't been able to show them all, but I will try! After seeing that Team Fortress 2 managed to raise $430k for Japan it reminded me how even a little help can add up to a lot if we all try. Hopefully all the linden we have spent on Second Life have added up and can also help.

Everything you see on me I bought for the cause. Skin is from Mother Goose, a great shop and a beautiful skin. I love the soft feel to it, almost like a porcelain doll. The make up is courtesy of Lucky #7 and as I mentioned in earlier post I LOVE the items that are so clearly Japan. The pattern is of course based on the national flag, white with a red dot but it also has a bit of design around the eyes as well so it's not basic at all. Hair is from Magika, I really love that shocking red color, so amazing.

Anges Finney is responsible for the dress. It's utterly beautiful, like a casual spring kimono. I love the color in it as well. The stockings and geta were not relief sale items, they came with an outfit I reviewed before by ChiChi of London. The purse is from Duh! and I was very pleased to see it matched the dress so well, I didn't even have the two in mind when I picked it up so lucky Sophi!

In case you couldn't see with my sleeves I also have some amazing nails on by [ni.ju]. They're red with a white dot, a reverse of the Japanese flag. My stunning eyes are from Banana Banshee, lucky me that even special eyes were made for the relief effort; people should never neglect the importance of a good pair of eyes!

Sunflower Day

Summer is on it's way so let's get a bit light and happy! Today I'm showing you a look created by Noveen Benoir, it's called Beth and a lovely yellow dress with jeans option. I thought it was a nice way to signal the cold weather going away, at least in my part of the world.

This is the jean option you can wear, very casual and relaxed and the top still goes with it. Two looks in one, can't beat that. Wearing some lovely shoes by Nardcotix in orange, a very bright color for the warm weather. A good pair of shoes can go along way to make an outfit stand out more. I've enjoyed every pair of Nardcotix I've worn so far and I think you will too.

Bliss Couture offers this lovely emerald dress as a group gift to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy the short yet elegant design of this look. The dress itself is accented with shamrocks but not too many and well placed. It's also a little lowcut and strapless so it will bring out your sexy side, rawr.

You get a better look at the shamrock detailing, it's on the hem of the skirt as well as right under the bust. Not too much, not too little. I like the ones under the bust since it draws attention up right at your...well your girls and then of course to your face. A truly beautiful piece of work and free for all if you join the in world group of Bliss Couture.

So I broke down and picked up another style of Magika in the relief red color. This one just goes so well with the gown, you know? The ponytail helps the bare shoulders and adds a bit of life to them. Plus, it's amazing quality hair and it's for a good cause so how could I go wrong?

I guess you could say this is the look that started it all, that made me feel a lil festive and decide to blog about St. Patrick's Day from a fashion stand point. This is of course Limerick from LoveCats, a brand new release for the ladies. There is also a male version out there so drag you guys down to get it so you two can match. Very neko and very sexy plus very festive.

You get everything you see with this outfit. The tail, ears, boots and the shamrocks covering my special parts. It also comes with a modesty option, top and shorts. But I don't come on Second Life to be modest so full view of my boobs you shall receive!

What doesn't come with the outfit is, of course, the hair. It's from Magika and a special color available for the relief efforts in Japan. I just LOVE the red hair on St. Paddy's Day. The little guy on my shoulders is from Nymph Couture, they also made the shamrock nom in my mouth. Tattoo is FREE from Para Designs.
